Paver cleaning and sealing on the Treasure Coast
Paver driveway, patio and pool deck cleaning, joint sand and sealing in Palm City, Stuart, Vero Beach and Tradition. Flat written price.
Pavers are common across the Treasure Coast, and they hold moisture in the joints. That is where weeds, algae and mildew start. Cleaning is the first step. Re-sanding the joints and sealing is what keeps them looking good afterward.
The three steps
- Clean. Surface cleaner and rinse to remove algae, dirt and stains.
- Re-sand. Fresh polymeric sand in the joints locks the pavers in place and blocks weeds.
- Seal. A sealer protects against stains and brings out the color. Some finishes leave a wet look, others look natural.
When to seal
Pavers should be fully dry before sealing, so we schedule it around the weather. Sealing a surface that is still damp can leave a white haze. Rainy season can push the date, and we tell you if that happens.
Price
Paver cleaning typically starts around $200 for a small area. Re-sanding and sealing are priced by square foot, so the total depends on the size of the driveway or patio. You get a written price for the exact job.
Questions
Do pavers need to be sealed?
They do not have to be, but sealing helps keep joints in place and makes the surface easier to keep clean. It is a good choice for driveways and pool decks.
How long after rain can pavers be sealed?
Usually a day or more of dry weather. We check before we start and reschedule if it is still damp.
